Just another take on my chicken tikka recipe on my website but using Baharat spice mix instead of curry powder.
Baharat (which means “spices” in Arabic) is a spice blend used in Middle Eastern (especially the Arabian Gulf region) and Greek cuisine. Typical baharat seasoning ingredients include allspice, chili peppers, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, cumin, nutmeg, and peppercorns.
I particularly love this @steenbergsltd organic version. It’s great with chicken, fish and roasted chickpeas.
To make the marinade for this just substitute the curry powder for 2 heaped tablespoons of Baharat, 1 tsp ground cumin and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Here I also used boneless chicken pieces instead from @pipersfarm
